As we are practicing social distancing during the Coronavirus pandemic, here are some creative ideas to keep the romance alive and well while keeping date-nights at home. Hopefully, we will soon be able to once again be out and about enjoying dinner reservations, theatre, the newest movie debut and enjoying all that the Raleigh area has to offer. In the meantime, we have come up with 15 excellent at-home date night ideas:
1. Cuddle By the Fire
Grab a comfortable blanket and cuddle up to your loved one by the fire and enjoy each other’s company.

Look online for some fun questions and spend the evening learning more about your sweetheart.
3. Recreate Your First Date
You may not be able to recreate every aspect of your first date, but you can make the same meal and even watch the same movie!
4. Create Your Own Spa Day at Home
Make your own face masks and create a spa in your own home!
5. Play a Board Game Together
Break out the board games and spend the evening challenging each other to a new board game!
6. Make Your Own DIY Wine and Design
Look up a Bob Ross tutorial on YouTube and get a bottle of wine for your own wine and design at home.
7. Have a Chocolate Tasting
Head to the store and get a bunch of different chocolate bars. Then create your own version of a chocolate tasting at home.
8. Turn Your Bedroom into a Five Star Resort
Break out the good linens and bathrobes and make your hotel into a five-star resort! Pretend like you’re on vacation and enjoy a night “away.” Put out some wine and snacks and enjoy an evening you won’t soon forget.
9. Read a Book Together
Pick out a book you both might like and take turns reading it together!
10. Have a Picnic on the Living Room Floor
Take dinner to the floor and enjoy a picnic right from the comfort of your own home!

Look up some online cooking recipes and follow along as you learn to cook a new dish together.

You don’t have to go out to enjoy a fancy dinner! Light some candles and dress up for a meal at home.

Learn a new language, how to paint, or even how to do something crazy and off the wall like juggle!

Have each of you pick out a movie, pop some popcorn, and enjoy a movie night at home together.

Look online for some fun personality tests! Learn more about your spouse and how the two of you can work together to understand one another better.
